K, so I reread the fever series...again. But I finally pulled away and I read Firelight, the Demon King, and The Exiled Queen.
Firelight was very good. Characters were well developed and interesting. I was somewhat happily surprised by the sister relationship. I thought there would be some backstabbing but there wasn't. A good thing for once. The story felt mostly believable except for some conveniences such as ending up in the same town as the hunters. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
On to YA fantasy. I thought the demon king was great, 4.5 stars. It was a great mix btwn adventure, drama, and magic. Love the characters complexities and believability.
